Sleigh Company, change back the rigors of modern times. Turn your rowdy day
of alpine activity into a cozy, horse-drawn carriage ride along picturesque,
snow-covered acres. It's located at the Park City
Mountain Resort. The company offers authentic horse-drawn sleigh rides
with the option to stop and dine. Four sleighs are available.
Rides leave from the base areas near the PayDay lift. Each sleigh is powered by two draft horses and can hold up to 12 passengers.
In this old-fashioned retreat into winters past you'll ride just like great grandpa and grandma did - by sled. From the cabin in Park City, Utah, or whatever homestead that lay among the vast snow-covered landscape otherwise untraveled. Rides start at the base area of the Resort and venture up the ski runs. When you arrive at the lodge, peal off your grubs and warm your hands and toes close to one of two crackling fireplaces. Or enjoy a hot beverage that awaits you. You'll also be treated like royalty to western-style cuisine in the presence of heart-warming entertainment before riding back again.
Rides are 25-30 minutes long and begin at 5:00 pm daily, with multiple evening scheduling options. All sleigh rides must be reserved.
The cost for adults and children for rides only is $20. Sleigh rides plus dinner for adults 13 and up is $59, children 3-12 is $34. Children 2 and under are free. Prices are subject to sales tax and gratuity.
Please arrive a few minutes early to allow for punctual starts each day. Park in the lot, or access to free shuttle is available. And dress warmly. If need be, blankets are available on the sleigh.
